Course content
Theoretical classes
The concept and characteristics of cyber law. Data and data protection. The rights of individuals in cyberspace. Privacy and information privacy. Legal regulations for personal data protection. GDPR. Content in cyberspace. Property in cyberspace. Intellectual property rights in cyberspace. Software licenses. Electronic contracts. Legal aspects of contracts based on blockchain technology (without intermediaries). Legal aspects of third-party guarantee contracts (certificates). Liability of online intermediaries. Electronic and digital signatures and legal regulations. Legal aspects of the electronic business of virtual organizations. Legal regulations of e-commerce. Legal regulation of electronic payments, virtual currencies and cryptocurrencies. Legal issues and regulations of international and global electronic business. Consumer protection on the Internet. Legal frameworks of cloud computing services. SLA. Legal aspects of the application of IoT, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence. Legal aspects of crowdfunding-based e-business models. Legal models of regulating relationships in the formation of startups. Ethical and professional challenges: social responsibility, data protection, codes of ethics and practice.
Practical teaching

Models of electronic contracts in systems with intermediaries (certificates) and without intermediaries (blockchain). Electronic signature. Electronic document. Electronic certificate. Regulation of electronic business and electronic commerce. Electronic payments. Terms of use of websites and web stores. Smart contracts. Examples and case studies on Algorand platform.
The aim of the course
The aim of the course is to analyze the basic legal problems of e-business and e-commerce in the national and global market.
Course outcome
Students are trained to identify and understand the legal problems of e-business and understand the legal framework of e-commerce.
