Biography

Doc. Dr. Živko Bojović was born in 1967 in Peć. He finished elementary and secondary school in Peć. He graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Priština, Major electronics with telecommunications, in 1992. He passed exams at postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade in 2000 and his master’s thesis “Preparation and processing of speech database dedicated to the automatic recognition and speech synthesis in Serbian language” he has successfully defended at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad in 2001. Doctoral dissertation: “The quality of service in a vibrant IP MPLS network,” he defended in 2011 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. In the period between 1992 to 1994, he worked as the chief organizer information system BK group. Since January 1995 till December 2014 he worked as a manager and engineer of the “Telekom Srbija”. He was elected for assistant professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Department of Electronic commerce  in December 2014.

Assistant professor Živko Bojović is engaged at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in the following courses:

3. Internet of things

He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.  He is a member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers and holds the following licenses:

1. The responsible contractor telecommunication networks and systems, license number 4756 04 453, 05.02.2004. year
2. Responsible designer of telecommunication networks and systems, license number 8720 04 353, 05.04.2004. years

• Smart (SMART) technology solutions (integration of computer networks, multimedia technology and information systems in next generation networks)

• Sensor networks in the scientific and business environment.

Doc. Dr. Živko Bojović published five papers in journals of international significance on SCI list, two papers on IEEE conference of international importance and more than ten papers at conferences and in journals of national importance.

Doc. Dr. Živko Bojović participated in the implementation of several scientific research, innovation and research projects:
• Project: “Integrated fire alarm systems (IPPS),” executer of the project: Zesium mobile doo, client: Ministry of Science and Technological Development, Innovation project (2010-2011).
• Project: “Integrated systems for the detection and estimation of development of fire by monitoring critical parameters in real time,” executer of the project: Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, the contracting authority: Ministry of Science and Technological Development (2010-2014).
• Project: “World-Class Speech Technologies for South Slavic Languages”, executer of the project: Alphanumeric Ltd. Purchaser: the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia (2013-2015).
• Project: “Distribution of radio and TV signals via Internet Protocol for the needs of national, regional and local media,” implementer and project contracting authority: Telekom Serbia (2007-2008).
• Project: “VoIP networks of Telekom Srbija”, implementer and project contracting authority: Telekom Srbija (2006-2007).
