The third international conference of E-business technologies – EBT organized by the Department of E-Business was officially opened on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences.
The primary goal of the conference is to bring together leading professors, scientists, researchers and practitioners, the most successful IT companies and students in one place to present ideas and examples from practice in the field of digital business.
At the opening ceremony spoke prof. dr Zorica Bogdanović, full professor at Faculty of Organizational Sciences, prof. dr Dušan Savić and prof. dr. Mladen Koprivica.
Key lectures were held by prof. dr Vladimir Brusić, professor at the University of Nottingham in China, with the topic Smart Health Home, prof. dr Aleksandar Kavčić, Professor of Carnegie Mellon University and founder of the Alek Kavičić Foundation, with the topic The State of the Public Education System of Serbia, and Scott Spiegel, founder and director of the Bitbasel community in the USA, with the topic From Fringe to Mainstream: the Evolution of Blockchain Adoption.
The opening ceremony and keynote lectures were followed by a cocktail in FON’s new building.
In the afternoon, parallel sessions were held with the topics Digital business ecosystems and Blockchain.
On the second day of the conference, on Friday, June 16, next sessions were held: Digital project based learning, Digital marketing and social media, Big data and artificial intelligence, Smart environments, Smart healthcare and VR, AR and computer simulation.
The last day of the conference, held on Saturday, June 17, began with the presentation of student solutions on the topic of Digital project based learning, then student presentations on the topic of Blockchain showcase.
The conference presented 45 works from Serbia, Russia, Canada, Croatia, Lithuania, Morocco, Spain, Pakistan, Portugal, USA, Greece, India, Slovakia, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
