The main objective of the monograph “Handbook of Research on High Performance and Cloud Computing in Scientific Research and Education” is to present the results of research work in the field of modern computer technologies and applications in and their application in science and education.

This is the first monograph in Serbia in the field of cloud computing and one of the first monographs in the world dealing with the application of cloud computing in science and education. The book was published as part of the application of computer technology in experimental solid state physics, which is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia Project 174,031th major contribution to the realization of this monograph gave more teachers and staff from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Department of electronic commerce, the Department of software Engineering and the Department for business systems. Monograph foreword was written by Prof. PhD. Dejan Milojičić current president of the most important World Association for Computing – IEEE Computer Society, and one of the world’s experts in the field of cloud computing.
The promotion of the book will be held on 05.15.2014. in the ceremonial hall of the University of Belgrade Rectorate.
