Department for E-Business is honored to invite you to participate in the 2024 International Conference on Marketing and Technologies (ICMarkTech’24) will take place at the LREC – Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory in partnership with University of the Azores, from December 5th to 7th, 2024. This conference serves as a global platform for academics and professionals with knowledge and interest in marketing, technologies, and related sciences, to exchange insights, conclusions, opinions, and concerns within these fields.
Department for E-business hosts special session in the field of innovative business models, marketing strategies and IT applications for development of smart cities.
Smart cities aspire to make life easier for citizens through the development of smart environments (smart buildings, smart classrooms, smart offices, smart shopping malls, smart manufacture, etc.), making savings in energy consumption using smart grids, reducing environmental pollution, providing more efficient transportation systems, increasing GDP and per capita income and better quality of life in general.
The goal of this session is to develop innovative business models for each component of a smart city, focusing on the use of technologies such as Internet of Things, mobile technologies, web technologies, cloud computing and big data, blockchain technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality for the development of services and applications for the smart cities, and marketing strategies for the raising awareness and promoting new services and applications in the smart city.
